After running around traveling and spending time with family last year, I really thought it would be no problem for someone with my education and experience to get another IT/computer job. But LOL! I've applied for at least 10 good positions over the past few months and they've all ignored me / hired someone else.
I'm lucky to still have some financial cushion (savings), but, it feels bad to be losing money every day. If I finish my existing commission, I may take on some more. Maybe I can make your commission dreams come true? Also I have a PATREON!! I'm very thankful to the 10 people so far that have given me small (and not-so-small) monthly pledges for my artwork.

I'm working on some yummy artworks! Can't wait to finish one! Sharing art is very fun 😁 I know Twitter / X is kind of a mess, but that is where I post things first these days! Check out the link to my CARRD links page, on my profile 🙂 I am probably going to de-emphasize commissions in future, & move towards longer comics, with early WIPs available to subscribers. (That means final artworks remain free for everyone 👍)

UPDATED: Commissions are closed once again, I got a few fun projects to work on ~~ COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! They are managed entirely by "Pixiv Request" system. I'll draw you a 4-pose FULL COLOR illustration/comic for recommended bid of $200. I'll probably close commissions in 12 hours, depending on the volume. I accepted 3 fun sounding commissions, so closed them for now, since Pixiv gives one month to complete them. I may open more in a month after this batch is complete!

I'm sorry to hear your having troubles with finding work. Its pretty sucky, my partner has been undergoing similar problems with submitting lots of applications and then hearing nothing in return. At least if they give you feedback on why you failed the interview/application you can take and learn from it. I do wish you all the best silky in finding something, try stay positive in the meantime and i'm sure something will come up.
