Every step was a desperate struggle, and she continued to sink deeper into the mud.
She pulled hard on the ropes; unable to use her hands to help steady herself, there was a real chance she would become bogged down out here. With her knees sinking in, it was extremely hard to free her legs, and to top it all off, she was becoming exhausted from the awkward effort. She soldiered on, determined not to become hopelessly stranded in this desolate and remote place.
Ah, I like how this turned out! The line-art has been languishing in my scrapbook album here for a while. I hope this girl is not languishing soon...

While I don't personally enjoy indulging in the quicksand fetish, it's not my fetish, viewing this picture in a different light, I actually think it's pretty cool.
